Farm Field Trip

We had a great, great time on our Field Trip to Green Meadows Farm. It was a wonderful, hands-on experience for the kids. I hope your kids came home and told you about the trip, if not-- ask them!! We got to pet all kinds of animals, milk cows, go on a hay ride, eat a picnic lunch, and every kid left with their own pumpkin.  A BIG thanks to the parents who came on the trip!! I could have not done it without you! If you were not able to go, check out the pics below and enjoy!!

PJ's and Pumpkins!

Hi families! Well I'm way behind on the posts, sorry about that. I have had Pajama Day pics and I wanted to get them up here....

On Pajama day, we read one of my FAVORITE books, Pete the Cat. Parents, if you do not own this book I highly suggest getting it for your child. It's so much fun, and plus it teaches a really great lesson about getting on with life when bad things happen.

They did such a great job making their cats. Here we all are below in our pj's. I probably love pajama day just as much as the kids!

The funny one turned out a little blurry.

To end the day, we ate pancakes in our pj's!

Pumpkin week was last week! And I hope your kids came home and told you a little about all the fun we had with pumpkins! First, we found out if pumpkins sink or float.

This is not pumpkin-related but the kiddos did a great job building their passwords--

Here they are making a capital letter I.
Back to pumpkins-- They all got to make a jack-o-lantern and fill it with as many teeth as they wanted. These turned out great!

Here they are labeling the parts of the pumpkin.
Here are the show and tell "letter I" things from last week.Iceman, index finger, ice cubes...
Icing, i-pod, instrument, and ice cream!

We carved our class pumpkin on Friday....

We've had a fun couple of weeks! And we're looking forward to a great week with our field trip coming up soon!! I'll be sure to take lots of pics for those parents who cannot make it. :)
